Phon Baillie-Your Masterclass Host

From Editor To Educator & Business Mentor

Phon’s passion for words started early. With a background in publishing, she quickly rose through the ranks, working as a proofreader, editor, and trainer for major publishers, businesses, and independent authors.

Over the years, she noticed a gap in the industry—many talented proofreaders and editors lacked the business knowledge to turn their skills into sustainable careers.

Determined to change that, she launched Art of Proofreading which soon evolved into Edit Republic—a premier online training platform dedicated to teaching both the craft and business of proofreading and editing.

Today, Phon is recognized as a leader in the editorial industry, helping thousands of students transition from uncertainty to success.
